    (June 21, 2009) The Faks and the FOKD (Friends of Kota Damansara ) has a total blast at our little Time Trail in conjunction with the AMP Tree Party for World Environment Day at the Kota Damansara Community Forest park.
A total of 48 racers showed up to party and to race in the newly built Scout's Trail. A big shout out to all who have made this event possible and also to AMP Radio Networks for sponsoring the prize money for the race! Congrats to all racers and winners! Search any weight weenie forums out there and you're sure to find pictures of KCNC stuff, be it roadie or mtb, being paraded on weighing scales by their proud gram-counting owners.
Compare the weight loss specs on some lightweight rig, and you're sure as fak to find KCNC parts responsible for bringing down the weight of the bike to some ludicrously low, almost UCI-illegal, weight. |

2009 Borneo Downhill Challenge - Race Report |

 Wednesday. May 27 2009.
Arrived late on Thursday at Kota Kinabalu. I was one of the last participants to arrive. Most guys arrived within the same day with the exception of the Singapore National team, who arrived early on Tuesday to scope the track. Practically everyone was already at hotel Merdeka by the time I got in. Kamra and Wendi - still fixing their bikes though' otherwise, everyone was good to go!

 We'll be doing something a little bit different for our next 2FnK race in June 2009.
It'll be held on Sunday 21st June 2009 at the Kota Damansara Community Forest's newly completed mtb trail..The Scout's Trail.
This is to coincide with the World Environment Day celebrations at KDCF.
The race is scheduled between 2-4pm.
The course is, you've guessed it, 2km long.
Format: like previous 2FnK races.. Time Trial (1 loop) with 1 minute interval between riders
