Banshee RUNE 6 inch travel Enduro Bike

One thing's for sure, this bike is an excellent climber! I wasn't expecting a bike with 6 inches front and back to climb so nimbly..
the suspension soaks up bumps on the way up but somehow pushes you forward at the same time.. I felt like I wasn't fighting the trail that much when compared to my old bike.

The rear end is super stiff.
Robbyawi was my photo model/test rider yesterday.. see what he says...

I like the color and mostly the logo ... looks Bentley ..

here's a video of the RUNE (prototype) at a test run.
The fakawis did contribute a little bit of input in the development of this bike...
we were the ones who suggested full cable routing in the frame..

niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! omfg. nice!

It was loads of fun test riding te Rune, initally i was bit skeptical on te stiffness of the rear linkage bcos it looked bit skinny!!But once I started hammering on the ascent....boy it cleared all my doubts!!
The bike felt exceptionally stiff and hardly noticed any lateral flex and bobbing at all,it really felt like a hardtail.

I had a few run on te berms n was hitting couple of small jumps, it was surprisingly stable,responsive and soaked up everything no matter how i throw te bike around!!Mind you te bike was setup for heavier and larger build rider, but i dont feel like struggling with it at all!

All i can say is, tis is a one great do it all bike!! Tough enough for freeriding without compromising on its stiffness and weight, yet still feel very light and fun to climb with!!

I hope my build have done justice to the excellent frame, coz I have to skimp on some parts to meet a budget, but of course those parts can easily be upgraded when the finance minister is not looking lol.

only some very minor gripes about the frame:
1. The regular XT 08 Front Derailleur (M770) will not fit on the frame coz when mounted towards the bottom near the BB, the FD would hit the rear suspension linkage. So I had to settle with the SRAM coz my LBS don't have the XT M773 or the XTR in stock.
2. The seat post clamp that comes with the frame needs an allen wrench. QR has been around for many years.
3. The frame does not come with a free Banshee T-shirt hehe (I saw some of you were wearing in the junkyard pics haha).


But all in all I am very very happy with the bike. Many many thanks for your good customer service in replying my emails, also send my regards and thanks to Benny for putting up with my daily phone calls haha.
I'll be ripping up the trails from now on.

I think 2.35 is more than enough for me, I need to pedal the thing around hehe

Saddle bought in S'pore for SGD185.
Damn comfortable, my boys down there are very happy lol. No saddle soreness, no numb nuts.
Weight is around 200 grams, 143 is the width of the saddle in mm since in comes in 2 sizes - 143mm & 130mm.
