Check out our FakawiBikes-Banshee Team Rider's new Race machine!
We are still awaiting the prototype Banshee Legend MkI but Rizal "Redride" will have to make do with our Banshee Scythe for his Downhill race in Thailand next week. The beauty of the Scythe lies in its 4 adjustable rear shock settings. The bike's travel and geometry changes as you change the travel through the following settings: 1) 7 inch Downhill 2) 7 inch Freeride 3) 8 inch Downhill 4) 8 inch Frreeride This bike is currently set up with 7" in the rear (downhill setting) which is fast and adequate enough for Thailand's downhill race course. View the bike GALLERY HERE! Watch the ride video here:

Bike Shrine | Banshee Wildcard & Banshee Scythe |
|
Written by fakawichief

This month's bike shrine is inhabited by not one but two bike models from Banshee..
The extreme Freeride / Downhill beast that would cut through any line you pick..aptly named the Scythe, and the super low CG banshee Wildcard- for Slopestyling and Freeriding. The Scythe has an adjustable 7 or 8 inch travel rear, which also changes the bottom bracket height and overall length of the bike when the travel changes. The beefy rear end comes with RockShox's MAXLE 12mm skewer to keep things bombproof.. ->visit SCYTHE Bike Shrine Gallery.. ->visit WILDCARD Bike Shrine Gallery.. |

Its been a while since my last review on the PrincetonTec EOS back in the old forum… Yea, that’s how long its been. Well, after weeks of waiting and all, I was finally able to lay my grubby hands on these babies! It’s come a long way from Oz to S’pore (thanks Paul!), and from S’pore back to KL yesterday night, via a private ‘courier’ (thanks Mel!!). |
