Here's something I found while out riding today. This is just at the start of Janie's Addiction before the short uphill.

Update: Found this as I was coming out of bar-a-kuda. It seems that they bulldozed their way down from the area close to the entrance/exit (depending on which way you're coming from) of lower-short, destroying that little single track short-cut to bar-a-kuda.

That trail that shortcuts from the (Sungai-runs-thru) Pondok to Bar-a-kuda still runs across the bulldozed area. As you come from the Pondok, find the rest of the trail about 70 meters down to the left of the bulldozed path.

Asking an excavator operator; he said the path will run straight all the way to the new fencing line. Him I bumped into on the I.U.D side of the trails last Saturday.
